@Maul, I remember back in the day (here I am sounding like an old man), it used to be so cool to have a Shoutbox. It was the whole reason I went with one software (IPBFree) over the other (InvisionFree). People would have elaborate HTML codes to try and make one in-forum or paste janky looking chatrooms from a third-party. Oh, the memories. Haha.

I had one on an old Zetaboards forum that was going well till I sold it... They used it more than the forum half the time lol

That's one of the things that went into my uncertainty.

Do I want people to use it more than the forum? Then, I realized, ... why does it matter?

There is so many arbitrary things assigned to post-counts, etc., but, really, what I want is quality, targeted discussion, it's why I haven't added any Forum Games sections, etc.
