What movie that was adapted by a Stephen King book do you think is most like the book it's based on?

These days directors often leave behind most of what happens in a book so they can make their own version of something.

Green Mile, maybe. I dunno. It's hard when you've seen the movie before reading the book. IT is close as well, and most of the changes made are for the better (no child orgies, for instance).

Which one? Tim Curry or Bill Skarsgård's version?
Either, really. I prefer the Skarsgard version, but they both remain fairly faithful. (Both have second halves that are inferior to the first, as well).

Both are also missing a certain, rather graphic sex scene.
