What Are You Writing Now?

I find sometimes it helps to have it in writing what I am working on and its progression, what are you writing now? Currently, I have a couple projects I am developing together. (1) I am wrapping up my development of the Readers Digested anthology and (2) I am working on the fourth installment of The Canes (an ongoing mystery series about a detective fox named Vulpecula).

I'm currently working on several projects;

- The sequel to my self-published novel on Amazon, it continues following the adventures of the titular character Shawn and his adventures as he continues to explore the world he was introduced into in the first novel as well as explores some of his concerns stemming from the major trials of the first.

- The Last Skycity, a steampunk fantasy novel set in a post-apocalyptic world that follows the investigations of the main character as he begins to uncover details that could change the world forever and fights against friends and foes alike to reveal it.

- The Monsters We Hide, an interesting concept that came to me when I decided I wanted to try my hand at writing a thriller. It takes place in a small town where teenagers end up murdered and the detectives on the case can't seem to catch a lead or a break.

Haha, I was simply gonna ask you drop it in this thread out of curiosity. We haven't created a specific section for author spotlight's yet, but, chances are, that's bound to come eventually (we have a lot of writers who participated in our Readers Digested anthology that might pop up here).

I've been working on my young adult series Cotton for a long time. The first book is Cotton: The Spinster's Daughter. It's a fantasy about a young girl being raised by 3 lamia sisters. The only problem is that my writing is sporadic at best. I tend to get distracted and writers block easily.

I am working on my second Children's storybook. It is a simple animal storybook. I am also working on my short story manuscript. I plan to publish these books by the end of 2023.
