What effect do you think video games have on people’s mental health?

Positive, negative, or neutral?

It would depend on the type in my opinion. Those that are very stressful I would feel the player would keep being tense. However if it’s an easy-going game, where you can get lost in it & enjoy your accomplishments, yes, I think it could be very beneficial to mental health.

It can occupy the mind. It can make serial killers more creative (a la Wes Craven). It can establish a sense of community. It can make you run over old people on the street. A lot of it will be up to the individual, but I think it's about as neutral as books and movies overall.

It can be positive to some while to others, it is just a way to pass time. It had a positive effects on my mind (maybe because I was always winning).
