[Hattrick]

In retrospect, the original Resident Evil is a bit on the clunky side. It has mediocre voice-acting and a storyline that more than a little generic. However, as we all know, it led the way into blossoming what is now one of the most popular horror franchises in the world. Likewise, too, I'd still say it holds up as a fun videogame in its own right, warts and all.
