Do you think the use of profanity is bad? Is it inappropriate? What's wrong with saying bad words?

I remember when Will Smith won a Grammy award, he claimed he succeeded without swearing at all. He meant it as an insult toward the rappers who did. In "The Real Slim Shady", Eminem had a curse-laden reply to that. Another time, Eminem exclaimed his stance on the matter, and I think what he said is appropriate - I respect your right to an opinion, but not everyone is as happy as you are. Everything isn't bees and flowers, and sometimes the right situation calls for that added oomph.

Cuss words are the best. Like anything though they can lose their meaning through excessive usage of them.

I have a really bad habit with cursing. I curse so often I sometimes forget to be careful when I'm around kids and end up choking on words until I find a (usually food related) alternitive.

I don't have an issue with cursing itself, but I don't want to be the cause of some kid getting soap in their mouth.

There's nothing like a well-timed and well-placed cuss word to really emphasize one's stance.
