Gaming is one of those ways we can use to relax my minds and body after a very stressful day. When it comes to playing your favorite games, what is that can make you stop playing a particular one?

Having to go to the bathroom, a family member calling, needing to leave to make an appointment or other important engagement or needing to make dinner.

Recently, when I was playing Sekiro, I stopped ... because the difficulty. I have beaten all the Dark Souls games, beaten Bloodborne, logged 70-something hours into Elden Ring (I'll beat that eventually). With Sekiro, the game-play style was so off from how I played them (it has more focus on parrying and no attribute system) that I didn't bother. It was hard and I sucked at it, but it was mostly that I didn't have the interest to "get gud" at something I wasn't having fun with.

I've had this same issue with Atomic Heart. I was progressing through the game at a steady clip and I've reached a point where no matter how I try to approach the situation, I ended up having to flee around until I eventually run out of health and die. Needless to say, I've temporarily stopped playing it so I don't get frustrated and quit completely.

I look forward to playing Atomic Heart. It's definitely on the docket.

Easy difficulty is not exactly..well easy.

I can't even tell you how many times I've died to stupid stuff. I picked the easiest difficulty to learn the controls and enjoy the story without having to worry over much about how I'm playing or being conservative with my weapons and ammunition. Only to find that exact problem where I am now in the game.

If I get stuck in a spot and keep dying I'll eventually put the game down and probably never come back to it. :V I've never finished Dark Souls 3, and it's the only Dark Souls game I have ever played. I only made it past the first boss, and I died 15 times before beating it.

Dark Souls, and any FromSoftware series, for that matter, can really test a person's tolerance for bullshit. Sometimes, it really seems things were constructed from a desire to frustrate the player. It can feel rewarding to become victorious over adversity, but sometimes it makes you feel like they don't respect your time as a player or are being inconvenient for the sake of it. I do love them though.
