Videogames Everyone Loves That You "Don't Get"?

Title speaks for itself, one is a videogame or videogame series that is critically-acclaimed, but you personally don't enjoy / don't see the hype for? Have you given it a fair chance? What about it don't you like? Will you give it a chance in the future?

I've never really been into the Halo series or Call of Duty. They used to be crazy, crazy big a few years back. Nowadays, they're still big, but it feels like the obsession is no longer at that same level. I can understand the enjoyment of them, as fun shooters, but I can't understand how devoutly dedicated some are to them. Not knocking. Just "Don't Get" it.

Halo is a series I have always seen around and I have never particularly enjoyed. I understand why I don't enjoy it - a lot of my teen years, I didn't have a high-speed connection, so I couldn't play online games, so I never got hooked on multiplayer. Also, I have simply never been much of a social-gamer (other than when I play games with my wife now).
