I love Burton's work, It's so dark yet so wonderful and addictive to watch. He is my favorite director.

They keep going backwards and forwards with Beetlejuice 2 news.

He directed a number of episodes of the Wednesday show.

I love Tim Burton's sense of style, especially when it's allowed to be shown. The Batman movies, Beetlejuice, Nightmare Before Christmas (although that was directed by Henry Sellick), and Sweeney Todd, for instance, all have that Burton shine to them.

I love Tim Burton's movies! Beetlejuice is my favorite Tim Burton film, and I also love Edward Scissorhands. I'm not sure how I feel about Beetlejuice 2, but I hope it actually does come out at some point since I do want to watch it if it ever does.

I don't view his movies as over the top dark. They have some good light-hearted comedy to tone down even the darkest of storylines. We recently watched Edward Scissorhands again. I also loved Beetlejuice. Ironically, I have never caught The nightmare before Christmas. What do people think about that one?

He's more melancholy than dark. He's like a gloomy, rainy day, ... but in a good way.

The Nightmare Before Christmas is a classic. I enjoy it a lot. However, I must admit I've soured over it in recent years due to overexposure. It feels like it is everywhere now. At first, it made sense. On Christmas? Sure. Halloween? Duh. Nowadays, I will see Jack & Sally merchandise on Valentine's Day, Easter, and any other time. It hasn't made me dislike the series, but it has diluted my excitement for it.

Not all of his films are dark but Batman, Batman Returns, Sweeney Todd, they're some of his dark stuff.

He is a director without a lot of style, at his best, that has shown he is more than capable of making a bad film as well. He's good when he tries.
