I haven't sat down and written a review for the John Wick film, but I feel confident about the rating I intend to set for it. As an actor, Keanu Reeves may not always have the chops to portray the most in-depth of characters, but he makes for a strong presence and no series has benefited him more than the Wick series. The first Wick is, in my opinion, the weakest of the ones I've seen, but it remains a strong film. From top to bottom, it is built to make the Wick character feel like a bad-ass character. Does it have the most depth? Not really. For the most part, it's your standard action film, but the action scenes and how they "set the table," so to speak, help make it a standout action film for everyone involved.

Never mess with Keanu Reeve's dog, it seems. Liked this film a lot, personally. One of the best action-films I'd seen in years (like the sequels too).
