After the wave of Universal monster movies in the 1930s, Hammer Horror took the reins and released their unique take on the series (if you can call it one series) in the 1960s. Often, I feel like they don't get their flowers, so I ask you - which is your favorite of the bunch? Consider this a 'Hammer Horror Discussion Thread'.

Curse of Frankenstein. Not just my favorite Hammer, but one of my favorite horrors in general.

I'll definitely add up a few Hammer Horror movies to the Review section.

I have watched about five Hammer Horror films myself, give or take. I still have a long way to go for them though!

Don't believe I've ever watched an actual Hammer Horror film. Tell you the truth. If that Woman in Black movie counts, I watched that!

It's always easy to forget, but - you're right! In some form, Hammer Horror still remains today. In the last decade and a half, they have released eight movies.

Of them, the Woman in Black was the only one majorly successful (financially speaking, that is). That film received a modestly successful sequel as well. I didn't care for the Woman in Black movies, personally.

They also did a remake of Let the Right One In called Let Me In. I like that film a fair amount (almost as much as I liked the original film).

Their most recent film The Lodge was released in 2019 and received modest reviews - it's directed by the directors of the acclaimed film Goodnight Mommy, but I haven't seen it yet.
