Ghostwriting

Between 2014 and 2018, I was very active on a freelancing platform called Upwork. I did a lot of ghostwriting. I not only wrote articles and blog posts for clients but also wrote a lot of ebooks. It took me a week to write an ebook and I used to receive about $200, it was good money.

Do you ghostwrite?

I don't. I couldn't imagine doing it, but that might be partly about ego (wanting anything I've written to be attached to me) and not wanting writing to be the one thing I don't burn myself out on.

I imagine it'd have to be a more workman-like approach to it. In which case, the 'buyer' should expect a diluted, less inspired creation.
