Liked the first one well enough, I'm looking forward to the sequel!

I am excited that they decided to let the director do a second film. I know there was a lot of commotion about its release on home-video and in theaters simultaneously, about whether it would make enough to justify a sequel, etc. Glad it all seemed to work out and he will be able to make his vision of the series (which will hopefully be long-term for Dune).

 

[Iroquois]

The film ended up postponed. I am hoping that the box-office marketplace has longer to return to normalcy, and thus, longer for Dune to build momentum. I feel like, in some ways, we lucked into Dune II being given the go ahead. I am hoping it can be a series that endures.
