[Interview] Game Dev The Game Kitchen share about "Blasphemous" and Onward

I have seen Blasphemous name bounced around everywhere. Didn't Elden Ring make a reference to them with a sword or something like that?

[Interview] Right Nice Games Shares on the Future of Skylar & Plux

I think I saw Skylar and Plux on the Xbox game store at some time or another, did they take it down?

    Xbox Game Pass

Love Game Pass. Like @Nick said, I don't know what the ramifications will be later on, but, in the mean time, I am enjoying it as a consumer. I constantly find new videogames to feel up my free time.

    What Are You Currently Playing?

I have started playing Signalis on Xbox. Imagine a sci-fi version of the classic Resident Evil videogames. That's Signalis. Pretty enjoyable so far.

The Dark Knight Game That Never Was (Editorial)

I think we can all agree that the Batman: Arkham series we received instead was much, much better than what The Dark Knight videogames likely would have been.

    The DC Universe Discussion

I watched it. It's s'kay. It isn't as bad as you may fear, but it isn't anything special either. With the Marvel movies (and DC too), we have come to expect sequels to improve on their predecessors. Look at The Dark Knight, X-Men 2, or Captain America: The Winter Soldier. for example. This...

Do you prefer Anime movies to be dubbed or subtitled?

It doesn't matter to me. I could never ever EVER watch a live-action dub of a Japanese film or any language for that matter, but it's more acceptable in anime.

    John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023)

The worry I have with anything after John Wick is exactly that. I want somebody who can go "all in" as a follow-up to John Wick, and I fear that, if the Continental series flops and the Ballerina film misfires (which I believe they both have a likelihood of doing), we may not get a second crack...

Attack on Titan Omnibus 1 (Vol. 1-3)

Great series. I have nothing but complimentary things to say about it. One of my all-time favorite apocalyptic stories. It has a creative concept. Good drama. Neat visuals. The later series is a little messier, but, at this point, it's prime stuff.

    Ghostwriting

I imagine it'd have to be a more workman-like approach to it. In which case, the 'buyer' should expect a diluted, less inspired creation.

    Scary moments in books

I remember always being taken aback by how haunting some of the images were. You'd expect children stories to be more like Goosebumps, where they are more or less a throwback to classic Monster movies we now no longer see as frightening, instead you have this! Courage the Cowardly Dog (if anyone...

    How the World Burns

The Walking Dead was a very good apocalyptic story, as is Attack on Titan. Both stories, admittedly, swallow their own tail by the end, but what they do have (especially The Walking Dead and what it branches off to create - i.e. the television series and the Telltale videogames), for when they...

    Roald Dahl

I was taken aback by that a little bit. I even went and looked it up afterward. Apparently, although it isn't officially credited, the Steven Spielberg movie was loosely based on Roald's story. I never knew that.
