    Scream (1996)

At a time when slasher films were starting to go by the wayside, Wes Craven's Scream film breathed new life in the genre, ironically, by highlighting its many flaws and repetitions. It turned the concept on its head, and added new, unique characters, including a likable trio and memorable...

    Wes Craven’s New Nightmare

After Freddy's Dead, it was nice that they let Wes Craven come back to the character that made him famous and let him go out with a little dignity (barring that god awful remake).

    Re-Animator

Good review. Re-Animator was definitely one of the best films from Empire around then. This, and that movie Dolls are ones I would recommend to about anybody who is interested in light-heart 80's fun.

    The Marvel Cinematic Universe Discussion

I am interested in the new trilogy of Spider-Man movies that are currently in-development. Otherwise, I am not hugely interested in the current lineup of Marvel characters. Maybe that'll change though. I wasn't hugely interested in Thor or the Guardians of the Galaxy, after all. I have heard...

What is a video game you stopped playing?

    Carrie

It's okay. I mean, - it's a classic. That's a given. As a book, it's alright. As a film, it was alright (and then, slightly less alright with the Chloe Grace Moretz remake).

    Second Chances?

I can respect that. For an independent writer, I would second that. For a famed writer with more than enough resources to deliver a high-production every time, I am less likely to be as considerate - especially because how many writers there are and how little time there is.
