I have seen multiple book series go down the drain such as Harry Potter and James Bond. Do you know any other examples of book series that went down the toilet?

SignUp Now!You thought Harry Potter went down the drain? Are you counting The Cursed Child? I have always been of the belief the series only improved as it progressed (except, maybe Goblet of Fire and The Order of the Phoenix). Prisoner of Azkaban is my favorite among them, but Half-Blood Prince was a close-second (and Deathly Hallows a strong third).I have seen multiple book series go down the drain such as Harry Potter and James Bond. The Order of the Phoenix was the only Harry Potter book I put down and never picked up again. It seemed to drag on forever and there were some parts I just couldn't finish no matter how hard I tried. Half-Blood Prince and The Deathly Hallows picked up enough to allow me to see how the story played out.You thought Harry Potter went down the drain? Are you counting The Cursed Child? Yes I am, and honestly I thought the later books didn't really work as well as the earlier books. It's just that they went on too long. Seven books was always a bit much and I think the series could have been better as a five parter. You thought Harry Potter went down the drain? Are you counting The Cursed Child?
Yeah, everyone tends to dislike Phoenix. I mentioned Goblet because it is another middling one amongst the bunch - I thought that one was fun though. The Order of the Phoenix was the only Harry Potter book I put down and never picked up again.
